APH: Into the Maze ((RussiaxAmerica))

Into the Maze

“Okay. This is going to be totally-” America paused in the middle of a 360° spin (arms flung straight out at his sides so that passerby had to duck to get around him), realized that nobody was following him, and marched back to the truck where Russia was still standing with his arms crossed. America linked their elbows ( Read more... )

Ah, Russia... but America *is* a child. A teen at most.

Good story.

Thanks!
Yeah, I kind of exaggerated that fact for this particular story. XD
I just hope I didn't make America seem too annoying/immature...

No, he's okay. A good kid. Well, at the start he goes over the top with trying to have real good-ole-time childish Halloween fun, but the rest makes up for that. It must be hard to have the soul of a child and the memory of a nation. It's clashing.

LOVEEEEEE! A diff. take than I had imagined, but it makes perfect sense! Felt so bad for Alfred, but Ivan chased after him and that's what counts! ^3^

Thanks! I was originally going to make it much more lighthearted and silly, but once I started writing, it took on a whole different life... XD

Warning: I am feeling talkative.

Gah, I'm late to review! Hilz came and kidn apped me for the hockey game.

So anyway, you are amazing. Just so you know.

As soon as America said 'tractor,' "She thinks my tractor's sexy" played through my head. What does this say about me? I had a giggle fit when you used it in the fic XD

I think his scarf is trying to tell Ivan to quite smoking ;)

Halloween is not just for children. And why yes, I am glaring at you through the screen.

"People have gotten lost in here for hours before!”
“And this is considered fun?”
--When with the right people, oh yea. When with one's bratty teenage brother? No. Hmm, bratty teenager, America...

I absolutely love the reason Russia didn't fight with America about the coat.

Oh, and we all know what Russian will enjoy 'too.' XD

Is it sad that I have no clue how our class is related to that song and I was confessing to being raised to love country music?

If we live near each other in the future, we so should put together ridiculous Halloween parties. And I will be the same sort of mother.

I don't think I was at the world's biggest but I have been to a few. I don't remember getting lost really; I was with my girl scout troop and had too much fun to think of being 'lost.'

Pedophile!dad is already taken by England In a way, they both strike me as huge brats and that makes them fit well.

Cuddly!Russia is awesome (and totally believable to me; in fact I think people would find him too cuddle-y when he finally feels comfortable to be so with someone...and this is slightly related to something on my to write list.) Well, at least you can be fairly sure that British theatre won't take the place of Hetalia in your subconscious. (Mine's certainly been taken over.)

Oh I used to hear people singing it all the time because of that one kid (Tyler?) who was obsessed with tractors and used to drive his to school sometimes. XD

Yay! Tag-team embarrassment! >:DDD

Your girl scout troop sounds much more adventurous than mine... Though I think we did go to an apple orchard one time...I've only been to an itty-bitty cornmaze before, and it was in the middle of open space, so if you kept walking one direction (cheating XD), you would get out in no time.

Haha oh yes, England wins that title for sure. I think Russia would be that way, too. Sort of desperately clinging out of fear of losing someone... but until he trusted them, he'd probably be pretty closed off and cold.
:D

I dunno... British theatre and Hetalia are battling it out right now. I think in order to calm my mind, I might write something that blends the two? Like a parody of a famous play. Wouldn't that be weird? XD

Ahhhh, I loved this one. You really nailed their lovingly-argumentative prickly dynamic in this. And it's cute watching Russia try to cope with another one of America's 'ideas' for them XD

Thanks! :D I tried hard to capture a little bit of the strangeness of their relationship.

I love it~! >w< So cute! But now I don't think I'll be able to go to the corn maze without going into a major gigglefit! lol
