Suppose you do opt to pay for the full version of QuickTime. Then, you upgrade your Safari which will install the latest version of QuickTime. If this version of QT is newer than your paid-for full version, guess what? You just lost your full version. Now you have to pay again to be able to use the newer version of QT.

Something tells me that can't be right, but, if it is that seriously blows.

Why the hell should a browser upgrade come with or require an upgrade to the video player software? Thats as stupid as packaging MP3 player management software with cell phone accessories. Oh, wait....
