A beginning near the beginning. [Action/Voice]

[At the beach, in the foam of the shore, there will be a boy in white pants being occasionally hit by the low tide. He will be sleeping peacefully in a straight, faced up position. Although that won't matter in 1 minute because he's going to open his eyes at that time. He wakes up to an orange sky; clouds only thinly covering small parts and ( Read more... )

[In an eternally deadpan voice, this guy doesn't know if it's a New Feather or someone just genuinely lost and returned from a recent bout of kidnapping; either way, his answer is the same.]

Luceti. Or at least the surrounding vicinity.

Luceti?...

[He heard a voice coming from somewhere and got up to look around. He didn't exactly see anyone. All he noticed was the book. The book sounded like it was talking. This was no surprise to Leon, since he came from a world where swords can also talk.
He got up and walked over to the book and picked it up. He saw his name on it and was more confused. He doesn't remember holding any thin book with him.]

Am I on an island?...

Yes, but not one surrounded by ocean on all sides. Are you near the ocean now?

[The man sounded like he could help him. He has no choice but to accept it, since he has no knowledge of anything on this "island".]

Yes. A beach is always the edge of a land, am I right?

[He decided since he had nothing else to do, he flipped some pages.]

Good question. Where are you?

[Another voice from this book? Leon had already gotten up to pick up the book when the first voice actually gave him a location. This voice only questioned him back. It seemed to Leon, he didn't know where Leon was either. Although with that tone, he makes it sound like he can see where Leon is.]

... Is there a map somewhere in here?

[He started flipping through the pages. This book was really odd. It was obviously not an ordinary book, but there are weird symbols and the pages just seem endless the more he flips.]

There might be. [...that was actually a good question. He didn't doubt there was, but he didn't know where, exactly.] But if you tell me where you are, I can probably tell you how to get back to the village.

[He looked around.]

I'm on a beach.

[How did he know? There were sand and a vast body of water with no land in sight. Plus he saw a crab and a seashell.]

[That voice sounds way too familiar. Could it really be him?]

I dunno where at exactly you are, but this is called Luceti.

[He looked at the journal that sounded much too familiar. It'd be like Stahn as a Swordian. Except as a journal. He would not like that one bit. He picked it up in question. He hopes he doesn't have to hear it for long though. I mean, the last thing he wants is the voice of the man he said he hated. Especially when he already has less than nothing.]

... Why does this book sound so much like that country bumpkin?

[He questions it because... Well who wouldn't? But he questions it because there would be no reason why it should sound so much like the blonde idiot he knows. And he only knows one.]

[Country bumpkin... Only a few people would call him that...]

...Leon?! Leon, is that you?!

[What? No. This can't be.]

...

[What is this book? Journalian Stahn?]

...

[He didn't understand why he said "Dorothy", but he's going to ignore it.
He got up and picked up the book; questioning if the source of the voice was from it.]

I must be hallucinating.

That'd be the better alternative.

[Suddenly it sounds a little more normal]

... Where am I.

[Although it's a question, it didn't sound like a question.]
