If anyone wants to see what I wrote to my math teacher.

Many of my instructors perceive me as a determined, strong willed but stubborn student. I’ll admit that I do have a problem with authority but only when the power gets to your head. You, Mrs. Duff, allow the power to get to your head. I may act like a bit of a heathen at times but that’s only because I believe the way you run your class isn’t professional. We pay for these classes, not you. So you, as my instructor, would probably agree I can be a heathen, although, most instructors would not.
I believe my classmates enjoy my outburst. College doesn’t have to be all work no play and when there is a bit of an intermisson during class, most students just beg to have their next laugh. No one has said an ill word about me from what I have heard through out the class so with that I would say my classmates (in your class) perceive me as if I’m an expresso shot with a bit of a kick.
I know I am a stubborn person but I have a good head on my shoulders and a lot of determination. When I want to do something I will either achieve my goal or I will go down with a fight, for instance, your class. I may not always take notes or begin homework while the last 5 minutes of class whines down but I do get the information I need for a passing test score. You may not agree or believe in my commitment towards passing this class but all you need to worry about is when you put PASS as my status for MATH070.
I am currently in school because, like I said, I am an extremely determined person. I want to one day be a writer and although math has nothing to do with my dream you got stuck with me because it is a requirement to continue being a student at GTCC. I do apologize for calling you out in front of the class when you misspoke a word in the place of “didn’t” but as a future editor its just nature. No hard feelings Mrs. Duff.
