Sheesh-the past few days have just been unreal-we got 3 FEET of snow Sunday and lost power for 20 hours. Everything in the fridge and freezer had to be tossed(or cooked-like i have time to cook a freaking turkey and 3 chickens right now!!)-it took Mark 4 hours to snowblow a path to get the van out of the driveway Monday-he missed work.Yesterday it ( Read more... )

I guess I'd take snow over flooding anyday! Was Artfest a blast?/ Am I the only one who didn't go???

MAR! I'm so glad to hear from you!!! I saw that you guys were getting slammed with that snow. You have had MORE than your share!!! A couple thoughts.... I use ProPay for my Mary Kay orders. You don't have to have the machine. You can enter everything either online or via phone. It might save you for the time being! (maybe?) Also... get something called Cold-Eze. It comes about 18-20 pieces of coughdrop looking things. Different flavors. Bottom line is that it is Zinc and Vitamin C combined and REALLY WORKS!!! Just keep sucking on them.... and it will cut through that sore throat and help heal you fast. (Geez, do I sound like a commercial or what?) Do those and hot tea..... you'll be up in no time! Keep us posted with your store progress!!! :D WHEN DO YOU OPEN???

And on my daily trip to Walmart I will pick up some ColdEze! I open on Sat. and i am totally not ready!!! I want my MOMMY!! I'll have Mark take some photos Saturday and try to get them posted next week!

The samples arrived safely! We got a new post WOMAN and she was smart enough to put the pretty envelope on top so it didn't get soaked by all the melted snow in my mailbox- the box was open during the storm and it was PACKED with snow!The old gut would have put it on the bottom just out of spite!!

Thanks Lisa-I never thought to take the Airborne after i had the cold.
