Im impressed that you got that upset about that...I know its um a bit late for a response, but since its my fault you found yourself in this irritiating situation I thought I should. I wouldntve reacted that way in training, but some people do. The only thing I have to add, is something I'm sure a lot of other people don't realize, is training isn't war. Also drill sgts and trainees alike are all on the same boat. Comments like that aren't good for morale, really. The point of training, at least the most basic of training isn't a war simulation at all, you sleep in barracks, eat meals,etc. Yeah, there is field training and combat skills training, but its like being in school more than anything else. Teachers dont say things like shut your dickscrapers to their kids in school classes to prepare them for college or a job or anything. I think the point that was trying to be made was more of respect for people in general, not can you survive in the desert or shoot a gun.
