Sad, but the ending was sweet, and the writing was wonderful overall. Your fic was as good as the quote you claimed. I do love the fandom's version of Pastor Jim; it's a shame that we couldn't see more of him in canon.

Aw, thank you so much, this is like one of the best compliments ever. Yes, i agree that Pastor Jim's character should have been given more screen time, simply because it has so much potential, and will offer a great insight to the Winchesters during the early years. But, well, hopefully there's a season 7, so perhaps a flashback or something? I'm hopeful! :)

Oh my gosh, this was beautiful. I haven't read a lot of fics featuring Pastor Jim, and I just love him here. This was a beautiful, sad snapshot and you did a great job! Thank you.

Thank you for reading, and those words! PAstor Jim is a great ooutside character, it's a shame he wasn't on screen longer. It'll be a wonderful indicator of how the boys were when they were kids. :)

:p Sometimes i feel that John will always screw up during their childhood because he's still learning the ropes of becoming a hunter and the grief's still fresh, but he also doesn't know how to apologize simply because he's wired that way. LOL who knows. It's just my interpretation.
