I saw the 8:00 screening last night of Transformers. It was a packed house and I was maybe one of five girls there (3 of which were with me). It was a crowd of solid Transformers fans, mostly guys in their twenties and thirties. And I must say, it rocked my socks off. I felt afterwards, the same way I felt after I had watched Serenity. How was Josh?!

I was reading an interview with the director in the paper Friday and when they listed his former movies, I was oh brother, those all sucked. But then I realized Transformers is probably a better fit for him than say, Pearl Harbor, so then I reassured myself. And today's paper had a good review, and the Star-Ledger NEVER gives anything a good review. So I'm excited again.

He was soooo smexy. Really, dirty and sweaty and heroic and awesome. He has one of the most awesome moments of the movie, in my opinion. You won't regret it. Just leave your disbelief and inhibitions at the door and love the Transformers.

DUDE. Unless you have a huge tv, like, you know, the size of a freaking movie screen, you must go see this in the theatre. The effects are awesome. I think the only thing that was CG was the robot effects. And the robot effects were surprisingly real looking.

It was just all around geektastic.

Guess what? I'm watching a lot of Nodame lately. Chris and I finished the whole anime and now we're going to start Episode 8 tonight. It's quickly becoming one of my favorites of all time.
