Ok, I'm working...well about to start working...on a paper and as such, I need music. So, I head over to check out this band Anberlin's iTunes store to sample some of their songs. I do as I normally do before plunking down my e-cash, read the reviews

I think that the and/or nature of the statement is incorrect; it's both. For most people I think it's a religion, but y'know, there are a lot of folks out there (and I'm not too proud to admit that they usually scare the fuck out of me) who won't see, hear, read, or do anything unless it's got the official Christian Seal of Approval on it somewhere. Belief, church, all the kind of thing, that's the trappings of religion; when you won't listen to music that's not explicitly about Jesus (or read books, see paintings, watch films... whatever), that's not religion, that's a lifestyle choice.

I think in that case though, the guy/girl/retard should have said "not JUST a religion". I had this convo with my mom already since i was so flabbergasted. But yeah, on one hand you're right. but, on the other they're still an idiot.
