Was there something about Potions that made you hungry? Possibly. But in JJ's world, he was always hungry. After every class. So this was nothing out of the ordinary for him and, like Anya, made quick to put away his things and head on out the exit.

He whistled softly to himself, digging his hands into his pockets as he walked down the corridor towards the Great Hall. Up ahead he spotted Anya, doing the normal routine of laughing and saying good bye to her friends. It made him roll his eyes, to be honest, because he just couldn't understand it. It didn't help that he only had one friend.

Feeling the familiar inner prankster rise up within him, JJ smirked as he pulled out his wand, sending a tripping jinx straight towards Anya. Wanting her attention?? Slightly, though he'd never fess up to it.

She knew that it was hard for J.J. to understand trying to be 'human' but honestly not even having any other friends was just pathetic. Didn't he know that she didn't want some puppy trailing after her? Though she definitely didn't mind it sometimes. Hey what girl wouldn't mind that?

As soon as she tripped though she knew who it was. Who else would trip her in the middle of the hallway?

Anya steadied herself, using those dancing skills to keep her from falling down flat on her face.

"Hey, loser," she said as she turned around, hands on her hips. "What was that for?"

Human?? What was that supposed to mean? She was the bloody mental one, not him! If anyone needed to work on being human, it was Anya and her bloody insane mood swings. Maybe she could also work on a way of, you know, warning people before she was going to do something mental. But he knew that was probably too good to be true.

And JJ would like to point out that he was no puppy, nor was he trailing after her. It just so happened that they were both headed toward the Great Hall. Like minded, those two. Always hungry. It's one of the only things about her that he could understand. It was coincidence that she'd gotten out of the class before him, which meant he'd end up following behind.

Which also gave him the perfect opportunity to trip her. Of course she knew who it was, that's one of the things that made it so brilliant.

He let a wide smirk cross his face, not showing that he was a little disappointed that she hadn't actually fallen to the ground. He didn't want to hurt her, but a small trip never did too much damage. Besides, Anya ( ... )

Oh right, well if actually having feelings and emotions made her not a human, too bad. If anything it made her more of a human to express herself and to embrace what she was feeling. Besides, shouldn't he be able to read her by now? He was her best mate after all.

Sure, he could keep on thinking that but in the end they both knew what he really was doing. Anya thought it was cute anyways. In an annoying slightly creepy way, but showed her he cared. Even if he would never admit it. The brat.

"Oh don't you What, love? me," Anya said playfully. "You tripped me! Ass face."
