My mother, my hero

I knew most of Gay-Gay's story from you, but it was enlightening to hear it from her own hand. So much of her life is based on her faith, and in makes me wonder, does one's faith have to be in a specific idea of god to work? Your mother is a strong willed woman. It isn't suprising she made the life for herself that she did. Would she have found the will within herself if she had not been a Christian?

I've been thinking about faith quite a bit lately. David's family is Jewish and his sister is a Jew for Jesus (just say you're Christian. Honestly!), which doesn't please his family one bit. Plus, I'm not Jewish and I'm not Christian. I have never had a problem not having a lable for my faith, because I do believe in God, but what if I am asked to convert? I'm not going to say I believe something when I really don't. Thinking about the implications of not believing what is perceived to be "the right way" kinda makes my head spin.

Anywho, I enjoyed Gay-Gay's testimony very much. Give her my best.
