i got betta fish.

i named them ralph and sally.

someone please tell me that male and female bettas can go in the same bowl. cuase someone told me they could. but i wanna make sure.

I've heard they should not be kept together until it's time to mate. On the other hand, I've also heard it's all right as long as you have more than one female. Take your pick.

yeah i seperated them becuast
1. i dont want them to mate
2. i only have one girl.
3. they were chasing each other and it scared me.

I always kept my boy and girl betta fish together, and never had any problems. Good ol' Betty, Wilma, and Josh....they were great pets.
