no i bought this online. they didn't sell the one i wanted at circuit city. it was only $330 though, no shipping, no tax. newegg.com is def the way to go.
no it's an asus eee. i don't like the acers because the mouse buttons are on the side of the touchpad versus underneath. the keyboard is taking some getting used to. i'm a pretty sloppy typer anyway so i'm having to take it slow.
but yeah. 1.6 ghz processor, 1gb ram, 120 gb hdd. windows xp (i'm gonna put ubuntu on it tonight or tomorrow), 3 usb ports, sd card reader, external monitor port and 4-5 hours of battery life. not fucking bad!
i'm very satisfied with it. i have both windows and ubuntu linux on it and i rarely use the windows. a lot of them have only 512 mb of ram but this one has 1gb upgradable to 2. i like it a lot and it runs great for just web browsing and games and even watching videos and stuff. the keyboard is kinda hard to use, but i'm getting used to it.
i got your letter the other day. i'm gonna write you back soon.
