it's mainly personal stuff. but being gay is not part of that pressure. it's just soccer, all the music i'm doing, college crap (anywhere from where i should apply too to what will my parents be willing to help pay for), to ib (the least of my worries (which is saying something)). and other personal stuff. but this year i'm just gonna try to grin and bear it.
i dunno, this is one of those classic posts that everyone looks at and hates. like this is the bad post example. the one that got a 7 out of 40.
sometimes just writing something down takes your mind off of it. and i'd rather deal with it now before it grows into an uber big pressure thing. and i haven't really posted much in a while. except for that one a few days ago...
gosh...shut up already lindsay!
and don't deny it. we were all stupid freshmen. i don't mean like this year's or last year's freshmen. i just mean ignorant, innocent, old school stupid freshmen.
He's right Lindsay. I was a stupid freshman. I'll just admit it.
Chris, every senior has a lot on their plate. We are fucked. Completely. But take comfort in the fact that none of us know what we are doing. Or where we are going. Or when we are sleeping. Stuff like that.
And your entry wasn't a 7 out of 40, it was a 20 out of 40 at least.
I really think "The lotus eating the lotus." should mean something for IB kids. It should be a saying, similar to "pot calling the kettle black."
And was that a real song?poem in your post or did you just make it up? I mean I know the song "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen", is it that? What is this?
i like "the lotus eating the lotus". that should be our class motto. i think that would have made an awesome hoodie design. maybe.
and it's a jazz tune called "nobody knows you when you're down and out" i had ordered a real jazz book and it just came in today so i picked it and hamlet up. btu the real book has like over 500 jazz songs, including melodies, chord changes, and words. other songs in this one are "take 5" by dave brubeck, "april in paris" by count basie, "caravan", the flintstones, the song from mash, and a bunch of others. that one just stuck out and was fun to play through.
hal leonard jazz real book. there's a few different types out there, some more traditional jazz (like louis armstrong and dizzy) but mine is more modern (as in dave brubeck and mccoy tyner).
