 So. Tomorrow, I go on a flight with my boss, my old foreman (who I am now the foreman of) and myself. We're touring a window factory. I know it sounds stupid, but I've never been "flown" anywhere on business. I'm used to sweating, ripping houses apart and putting them back together. yeah, I hated business trips like that when my colleagues would want to go out later and do the same type of frat-boy eatin and drinkin and talkin about the same old bullshit they could do at home, ... while I would want to out somewhere and soak up some of the local culture.

Wow. The tour was incredible. The socializing bit was pretty much what I expected, Though my boss and I *were* able to come to a clearer understanding on a few things. Drunkenly, o' course.

Thankfully I was able to sneak away for a little bit and hit the Marvin family museum, which is as close to "local color" in the city of Warroad as a guy is likely to find. Fascinating story of a family and the community they built.
