YAYYYY!

I'll have you know that snippets of the song have been stuck in my head ever since you showed me this.

I am excited to see the finished product!

I knew what I'd use it for the first time I heard it and I have listened to this song 185 times since. =D

THE VID IS AWESOME.

YOUR TIMING ♥_____________♥

My favourite part will always be Cameron punching the window.

Thank you! =D
Timing in that thing is an illusion! All the clips are exactly the same length and the effort I put into placing them was minimal really.

Yes! That is the best bit. I need a Cameron icon.

So what do I know about T:SCC now? That River is robot (and still crazy!), and also she drives in cars. A lot. As does everyone else. Sometimes they get tied up in cars! Sometimes the fall of top of cars, breaking them! Sometimes they just drive. But there are robots, and also cars. Thank you for expanding my knowledge about this 'verse! :D

No, seriously, I liked this. The song felt right for it and for something that is innately repetitive, it didn't actually feel boring.

They have Guns and Destiny too. And Sarah is a Bad Bitch (her words) and demands you watch the first two movies (but not the third) and the TV series. Do it. =D

Summer Glau has managed to kill me dead again. She's amazing in this.

Hee! I do like a touch of Destiny in my fandoms (and Guns kinda goes without saying... XD)

Oh, well, if Sarah demands it I guess I'd better like I wasn't already totally sold by the 'tied up in cars' thing XD

Heh, I did actually watch one episode but I didn't really follow it except that a significant portion of it was kinda like the bit towards the end of Serenity, or this comic. I'm OK with this, btw! :D

She does do that a lot. I couldn't even guess which of the twenty or so that episode could be. =)

I highly recommend Terminator.

Thank you. =D
It was a massive experiment for me, I usually stick to the song as narrative or theme.

works really well, i reckon. i like the way your fucking around with the video splinters the original narrative in a way that allows us to keep a few ideas we may have about the essence of the characters but not much else. it lets the music saturate the images, rather than just comment on or describe them; and allows a genuine re-vision of the show (which is especially cool if, like me, you love the show for the tech and the pretties but can't actually stand to watch too much of it in its original form ;-) )

and the structure's perfect for this music. it's unified and repetitive and consistent (all in cars, all the time, all short clips); but it's also kind of, i don't know, *drunk* is the word i want to use. it's not too bothered about order and boundaries.

i find it just slightly maddening to watch, but in a good way ;-)

Thanks =), it was slightly maddening to make too. I think (as much as I can aim, my vids tend to become something very different than I planned) I aimed for the confusion or drunkenness because of what I've always thought about the Terminator movies/series. It's one long chase movie. Their lives are full of confusion and sudden changes in direction. =)

I was worried at first that at 6 minutes long I wouldn't have enough clips to fill the whole thing! Even after I removed all the talky-face I had at least three times the possible amount that it needed.
