Oh, but the fairy did something extra. Being raped by magical creatures while being unconcious replenishes your life energy, didn't you know?

...this would make for a very weird plot in a book.

The keyword is ALL lives. It just replenishes three hearts. It has something to do with the fact the little fairy is captured in a tiny bottle, instead of stumbling into it.
But you're right, rapture for revenge would be an option ;)
