Yikes. Seriously, that's not cool of your dad not to mention the insurance switch thing. It's perfectly acceptable to call home and mention your annoyance at that and also ask for the relevant plan info & numbers (I don't have a card up at school, either, but as long as I have the company name, all the right plan numbers and the plan name and such, the local Walgreens still only makes me pay the $25 copay.)
I am also pretty sure if you ended up in an emergency room, your parents would probably want to know how you were doing anyway (parents are weird about their kids like that), and as long as you're getting in touch with them, they'd probably be willing to the let the hospital know "oh hai here's her insurance info."
You should get card though, especially now that you can stay on your dad's plan the next four (and a half?) years, even if you aren't a student! Yay healthcare!
Haha they're not but they are related. :3 I am, how you say, prone to infections of a certain sort, for which cranberry juice has proven ineffective on several occasions.
Yeah, I wasn't stuck with one all over break so it wasn't too bad-- I have a prescription for low-dose antibiotics that I can take whenever I, ah, expose myself to conditions conducive to obtaining said infection. :3

Sorry to hear about the insurance. Ugh. But if YER PILLZ are the pillz I'm thinking of, they will always be cheaper than spawn. Remember that :D
