ONE - ACTION; locked to 1124 Taylor Street & backdated to a few days ago. [ so, Marui had woken up in this weird place, right? And he'd made it through the initial freakout stage pretty well; no major hysterics or anything. He'd even looked at the fake photos without feeling that creeped out.

He is actually really stumped on what to do, though, ( Read more... )

[ DING DONG goes the doorbell. Taiwan is up and about making her rounds today. P.S. She sells makeup, that's what the huge case is for.

Don't make fun of the pink scooter parked at the front... ]

Hello! I was wondering if I could interest you in any of my fine products that - oh! I haven't seen you around before. Are you new? Did you drink the milk!?

[ he just sort of stands there with a spatula in his hand for a few seconds before his brain decides to start up again. ]

Huh? No, I didn't. Is there something wrong with the milk?

I hear it's made of something really gross, but you know, as long as you don't touch it, I think you'll be okay!

When did you arrive?

Oh, that sounds really gross... What about milk from the store, is that alright? [ growing teenagers need their calcium, after all! ]

Arrive...? Well, I woke up here this morning, if that's what you mean.

Aha. That was kind of my first reaction too. As for staying out of trouble? Just try and fit in to the 'role' this town has given you. Try not to do anything that'll draw attention to yourself. Don't stay out too late. And... don't drink the milk. You'll be safe most of the time doing those things. Of course, that's until the events happen. Then it's really just Russian Roulette.

As far as tennis goes, I believe there's a court at the Rec Center. I've never actually been there myself, but I'm sure somebody would be more than happy to show you the way.

I just have to be a model teenager? Heh... sounds kinda boring. I guess that's easily doable, though, and preferable to the alternative.

... Events? What are those, like - festivals or something?

Thanks for the heads-up! I appreciate it.

iheartcabbage May 14 2011, 03:47:18 UTC
Not... exactly.

These 'events' are anything but fun. It's the way our captors screw with us. I've only been here about a month, so I haven't seen too much. But the horror stories I've heard are pretty terrible. A giant robot destroying the town. People in Hazmat suits killing everyone or something like that? I don't even know.

If you're curious, I heard the library has some kind of info station set up to get you filled in on what's up with this town. I believe the guy that makes the pamphlets is called... Dist?

Oh.

... Yeah, what I said about this being like a really bad B-grade movie? It's sounding more and more like it every second.

Well, I don't spend much time in the library, but I guess it wouldn't be bad to know a little more about these kinds of things.

[Frankly, Seiichi couldn't care less what Marui said at the moment. All that matter was that he was here, and Seiichi's selfish enough to be happy about having a member of his team with him.]

Yes, it's me. Sorry, it's just really nice to hear a familiar voice after all this time.
