It occurs to me that I should probably give a poke here, as I'm planning on throwing Josh at River and this should probably be worked out.

To make a complicated story short, Josh is the awesomest awesome in a world full of mind readers (and I am kind of not even being biased here). The stance I've been taking with him is that he's constantly sheilding himself from that sort of stuff out of habit, so I'd think that River wouldn't get that much, if anything off of him. There's more detail about it in Josh's app (first post on this journal) if you want to look, but that has massive TWEWY spoilers and I don't like forcing those onto people.

Does that seem reasonable to you? I haven't actually seen very much of Firefly at all, so I wouldn't know.

Meh, it doesn't matter much. Her being psychic is just a piece of what makes her a creepy genius.

If he's always on his guard, then she's always on HER guard. So neither one will get much outta the other that way. So yeah, it's fine.
