I was getting really worried and was just about to post a 'where is songbird post' when I saw the new friend on my list. I'm sorry about the privacy violation! I have that fear I'll be discovered by people I know IRL every once in a while. I can imagine how unsettling this must be for you. ((hugs))

I hope you can find a way to filter your older entries (I can give you a few tips if you need them)--I never got the chance to go as far back as I would have liked to yet. Either way, I will definitely add you here.

Oh, thank you...I'm going to try to go on my old LJ and just make most of them friends only. It's weird deleting a piece of yourself- I don't like it much on the clean slate!

But thanks...and I'm glad you didn't delete me. I'm going to try to come back! I never realized how easily someone can find you on the internet. A lesson learned the hard way. Oh well.

oh baby. i almost FREAKED when i saw your journal deleted.

go back to your old journal and make all of the posts friends-only. it'll take some time, but if you want your old stomping grounds back, do it to it.

some people are assholes. that's all i have to say.

and i love you dearly.

I'm going to go back on tonight maybe much later on and make the entries friends only. I should have done it to begin with, but I figured I was so uninteresting, no one would bother to look for me online. And yes...some people can be intruding, nosy assholes. I love you dearly too and hope things are going well with the potential new job. I'm rooting for you, love.

sorry to hear that. i went through that a few years ago... which is why all of my entries are now friends only. i really hate that because i know it keeps new and cool people from finding me, and me finding them. i think there is a setting on your infor page that tells the search engines robots to go away, but i dont know how well it works, especially if other people who dont have that turned on link to your journal. anyway, i am glad you didnt just go away.... :-)

by the way, if you DL one of the clients, maybe you could archive your whole old journal and then put back what you want into your new one.

Yes, I'm going to try to go back and make everything friend's only. And it does sort of limit things and connections. I did disable the search engines, but where's a will...oyou know the rest. I'm gald you're around. It's nice to see you!

Maybe I'll try to the downloading thing as well and try to archive the journal. Anything to keep my options open. I hope you keep my old journal on your friends list!

Oh you, I didn't expect a response. My letter was so dry, because I was so excited to go out and buy a card to send you! And when I got off the subway and came home to write it, I realized I had nothing of interest to offer, except a little piece of me. More will come next time!
