I pose a question. Can you have sexual fantasies about friends? I have A few female friends, and a lot of them..i dont even think of in that way. But sometimes my mind drifts to places I really dont expect them to go. Am I wrong for feeling this way, now I would never over step my boundry and will always be who I am. As for your question... I do believe that it's absolutely possible to have sexual fantasies/connections with friends, and even remain JUST friends/friends-with-benefits. I speak from personal experience, being a great believe in friends-with-benefits myself, and who's to say it's not an equally legitimate expression of that connection you have with them? It's still physically expressing a love and intimacy you have with someone. Just in a different way. A friend of mine calls it "romantic friendship", which I really like.

Anyway, that's my rambling. Hope it shed some light on that.
