I haven't written in this thing in so long, but now I'm stuck at school for another 35 minutes with nothing to do. I already said hello to almost every single person on my top eight. Posted complete randomness to Billy. Check my horoscope. Did a survey. Looked at pictures and now...now I'm here ( Read more... )

Hey, don't let the man get you down, I'd bet money that the guy is pissed off at something completely unrelated to work and is completely powerless to do anything about it. At work he's got some power, over you, and he's abusing it just to make himself feel like a bigger man and is still in charge of some aspect of his life. My advice is to do what I do with asshole bosses, nod in agreement and keep your head down when the axe swings, because if he has anyone to report to he's the one to blame when shit doesn't get done, not you ( ... )

Awwww... Smell realized the secret to happiness. :)

As for your boss, you're pretty much describing every customer I ever had at Kinko's, so I totally know how you feel. I mean, they left, eventually, but there was always another one to step in a take their place. The long and short of it is that trying to do production for people who aren't creative and don't know what they want is a fruitless endevor. Of course, right now you're kind of screwed into that job, but at least you can comiserate with Corban.

But whatev, you'll be able to move on eventually, and then it'll be okay, or he'll get over this bug up his ass and leave you alone to do your job again. :)

If you feel he is trying to toughen you up of make you a tougher person by yelling at you, you are taking it the wrong way. No aduld deserves to be yelled at no matter what the do right or wrong.
