Billy has always been a bit of a pouf. I have heard some terrible rumors about he and that monocle of his. Turns out it's not a monocle at all! He just broke his spectacles! Truly shameful. A storm hit briefly, and we lost several dozens from our orchards. A pity, but one cannot fight against Mother Nature. I'll have to decline, if only to say that those scones were quite unsavory to the tongue. I didn't much care for them, really, darling. But the tea, on the other hand, was quite pleasant.

I do wish to hear from you again soon. I do hope the postman works with a bit more haste this time.
