My only advice is to never, ever, ever speak improper grammar to them! We didn't with Jaq, but when Jill was tiny, we were in a bad habit of going "Awww, look at he! He's so cute!" to the cat, and now we're having to break Jill of it. We didn't even do it after the "Oh, she's learning to talk" point!
