My grandma had this recipe I've never heard of anywhere else besides in our family (I think it's a German dish) involving hot flour dumplings topped with toasted bread cubes and a strawberry/cream sauce. It's SOOOOOO good and my mom still makes it on special occasions. I have no clue how to spell it though--it's some sort of bastardization of spätzle (which is just german for dumplings). Google is not helping either SIGH.

You could make Toad in the Hole? I dunno how it tastes but it involves sausages and carbs, I can't imagine it would be bad.
