it's the hot + nice combo that does it for me, and his vulnerability, and I was SO relieved that he got the girl in the end ... Gale Hawthorne is also a great book hottie, but the development of his true colours (thoughts on war / killing etc) turned me off

Mmm. Not sold on Peeta myself. I think Gale was more my cup of tea despite all the war stuff. Or even Finnick (apart from the whole torn-to-death-by-lizard-mutts).

However, I might have to register a Lit-Crush on the whole Hunger Games series!
