SWG: Salt in the Wound: Grr.

Jan 08, 2008 12:38

Someone just made the mistake of haranguing me as to why I didn't play SWG any more on the basis that "the NGE rocks." Hoo-boy!

They proceeded to attempt to list all the good things about said NGE, blatantly ignoring the overwhelming slew of bad things (which dwarfs the 'good list' rather substantially) that I was pointing out in response.

Seemingly "I obviously haven't really tried the NGE properly," even though I've played the trial on at least half a dozen seperate occasions (to the full extent of each trial period, except where persistent client crashes and system lock-ups prevented me from doing so) and have played using someone else's account more regularly than that (just to see if things had changed in the high-level content; oh emm gee... they hadn't!)

I'm not even going to go into $oE's persistent PR nightmare or how $oE have continuously lied to their customers about virtually everything. No, really. I'm not. *turns purple*

Oh, to be able to log back in as my architect, pick up one of my many multi-function crafting droids and crafting stations and drag Witchi around my customers' houses, harvester farms or factory swarms, helping me carry materials and opining on my decorating - when she wasn't lazing in a fitted fountain, (not so) randomly dancing, flying as my wing-man or helping me blast things apart while I was in TKM or jedi mode, heh. Ah, the good times!

Dammit!

Luckily, this person neither lives close to me nor do I own a gun.

Fucking fanbois need to fucking die in a fucking fire!

*fizz*

rant, swg
