Henry placed his hand on the small of Vicki's back as they walked toward the private jet that would take them to Vancouver. He was going back to something familiar while Vicki was heading into the unknown.

Wonderful chapter! The changes in the dynamic between Vicki and Henry are very interesting - Vicki's always been reasonably confident in herself, but her acceptance of Henry as a permanent fixture in her life seems to have expanded that confidence and made her more comfortable in her own skin. I'm very much looking forward to see how the relationship evolves.
