Henry had a split second to shift his body before his full weight landed on top of Vicki as she let out an, "oomph." The motel's darkened room didn't keep him from seeing her startled expression and he snuggled close, "I didn't think you could take all of me at once."

Not able to see him clearly in the dark, she traced the outline of his smile

Yet another wonderful chapter! Very much looking forward to how Vicki's going to deal with being vampire and with her mother. I'm getting the feeling that Mike's stack of corpses is going to drag Henry and Vicki back to Toronto, though. Maybe Henry will relax enough to 'join the club' on the flight back ;)

You just keep it getting better and better! loved the chapter, "Please" don't seperate them after all of that, and whats up with Mike's bodies? I hope he doesn't blame it on Henry! The story is great! excited about the next chapter!
