Hot weather again

It was 30C here on Sunday, 31C yesterday. I have had to rethink what to pack for Sydney as the wardrobe I had planned to take is likely to be too hot. Yesterday I fought my way into the 'store' room off the bedroom and managed to retrieve a shirt Les wanted, plus the ultra lightweight clothing I take to Thailand. I concentrated on laundry yesterday

I'm behind, and you are travelling soon! I hope the wedding goes well. Glad you found the camera, I lost the battery charger the other day as daughter finally did a clean up then couldn't remember where she put it. Took me a couple of days to unearth it. lol.

Weather is still fairly changeable up here. Bring a light jacket or cardigan for the evenings though.

Thanks for your advice. The wedding is being held at 2.30, out in the open with no shade, at a Newcastle golf course. Had an e-mail about it yesterday. Can't say I'm looking forward to frying. If it rains it will be held indoors, which might be more comfortable. I will be bringing some sort of jacket, wearing it actually as our flight departs at 7am, meaning a 5.40 departure for the airport. It is usually chilly at that time of morning. Stand by for airport pics.

I was hoping to travel light, but am packing extra clothing so that I have the option of being cool if the weather is hot.

We are planning a visit to China Town for lunch tomorrow, at the Hingara probably. Ahh! The fleshpots of Sydney. This visit we hope to do the things we missed out on last time, train trip to Katoomba, train and bus to Bondi, Art Gallery of NSW, some recreational shopping, the list is endless.
