Yay!! The plumbers are finished.

We had a young man working here all day and now the cleaning up is completed, although there are still a couple of adjustments to be made with the actual plumbing work. We hope the roofing iron and tree branches will soon depart, as we now have access to the back. I'm aching to get into the garden now and plant the roses. The garden is already

What sort of things would you like to do in your garden besides roses?
It's so exciting to garden dream and plan.

I guess people live with hernias and don't know it quite often. Another friend of mine just had hers repaired.

At this stage I'm thinking of a row of rose bushes beside the front path, with pansies, sweet alice and lobelias in front of them, and maybe lavender and daisies behind. The garden will just evolve as I go along, and I'll just do one side of the front yard to begin with and see how I go. It will also depend on clearing the infestation of ivy.
