We are now into week 12 and Nick called in earlier in the week to say he was leaving again for the country, but if the job he is doing there is not completed by this weekend it will have to wait, and he will be giving our kitchen his full attention. That makes me very happy. I can't wait for the dishwasher to be operational, and I would like to get ( Read more... )

Good bargain on the blinds!

I know what you mean about having bad moments. Manolo has heart problems and while he is doing well now, I still think about what might happen. I can't quite resign myself as you have so prefer to think that the future is a complete unknown.
Your pumpkins started quite late, didn't they?

(((hugs for you)))
I do hope your kitchen gets finished quickly after this week.

I wish it was time for me to plant seedlings, but I've got several months before I can do it.

I'm looking forward to seeing your finished kitchen. Good deal on the blinds!

I don't like when those negative thoughts come into my head. :(

I hope the kitchen gets finished soon. And that you get your pumpkins before it gets too cold.

Have you heard of the Diggers Club? You can get all sorts of interesting seeds and plants from them.

I know of the Diggers Club, but at this stage I'm just buying what I can get locally. I would like to go to the Saturday market, since there is more variety there. I have bought some lovely roses there previously, and also you get people selling really unusual items from their home gardens.

I hope the kitchen will be finished soon, it has become a bore, and I'm tired of having to stay home to make cups of tea for people. I had hoped to give myself a few photography days, but that hasn't happened, and if i don't do it soon it will be too late in the season. I'm already starting to stiffen up again. Also, there will be a big cleaning job when the kitchen is finished, and it is going to be hard to cope with it if I am unable to bend.
