How could they diagnose skin cancer and not have it even be that? That's awful. I suppose they just decided visually that it was?
I guess it's good news that Les' heart is ok. Emphysema is serious but manageable these days. Still, I hope it's not that. What's left to do on the kitchen?
Les diagnosed it as skin cancer; his GP is learning from him. Pity they didn't do a biopsy first.
The kitchen still has to be tiled and painted, window coverings put in place, floor has to be coated with plaster to make it smooth before new floor covering goes on. Then, when the dining table goes in I will need to have the light fitting above the table relocated, forgot to ask John when he was here yesterday. Obviously the previous owners had a much smaller table; our table is 6 feet long and the light will be hanging more to the end of it, where I need it centrally placed.
Thankfully, yes. The kitchen part is now totally operational, but the dining section is still total chaos. I'm rediscovering my former interest in cooking now that I have a decent work base.
