On Tuesday I had furniture removalists come in and relocate the the 2 frig's in the kitchen. It took them 30 minutes and was worth the money, as it was a job we were not strong enough to do. On Wednesday a builder named Neil came and in one day completed all the remaining kitchen jobs. We now have kickboards installed and another shelf fitted, as

It's great to hear that things have finally moved along with the kitchen. How did you find Neil? He sounds so much more responsible and trustworthy.

I'd have at least looked at the price tag! You never know. The kitchen set sounds very much like something that was in our house when I was growing up.

One of the prettiest kitchen floors I've ever seen was a vinyl floor that had a bright red brick design. I do like red in a kitchen but I am probably the one in a thousand with everybody else preferring beige.
I am glad you were able to find someone to wrestle the frig's around the kitchen for you and someone else to finish up the kitchen jobs. That helps a lot.
