Kitchen floor is done!!

Last week the kitchen floor was resurfaced and then the floor covering was laid. The transformation was amazing. For a few days we were stunned by the WOW factor, and it is still an enormous pleasure to go in there. I've been sick with a virus, so I'm glad I had the flu shot earlier in the year, as it was more of an inconvenience than full on ill.

That certainly was worth the wait! What a lovely kitchen you have now. I think you've made the most of the space. It's gorgeous! I love the aged look of the flooring. We can't get good wood substitute here in Spain- What they do have looks so fake and I miss good wood.
Enjoy that wonderful space and take care of yourself. No scratching!

Your finished kitchen is beautiful. I love light bright rooms myself; my previous house had a very dark lounge room which I rarely used because its darkness made it uninviting except on the very hottest days of summer.
