It had been my intention to go into town again yesterday but I discovered that I was feeling totally wiped out, so had a quiet day at home, and spent most of it in my dressing gown. A waste really, as it was a lovely sunny day, and I didn't even venture outside until about 4pm ( Read more... )

VERY green indeed. It hasn't rained hardly at all here yet and it's now October and we're still having 30-32ºC. I'm longing for cold and rain!

I wish I could find a slow cooker here in Spain but they never caught on and so far no luck. We tend to use pressure coookers a lot and that's just not the same...quite the opposite, in fact.

LOVE the tulips!

I love my slow cooker. In fact I've got some pumpkin and vegetable soup cooking in it right now. I say you should just buy another one while it's half price.

Yes, I have noticed how many yellow flowers there are in late winter/early spring. Besides the imported ones (daffodils, tulips etc) there are many different varieties of wattle plus other native plants that I don't know the name of. Not to mention dandelions!
