I rang the Dick Smith shop on Monday morning and explained that the router was not the correct technology for my Mac. This time I evidently got someone who knew what he was talking about, because he said what I need is Airport Express, and has arranged for one to be sent from another of their stores. I'll ring this morning to ask if it has come in ( Read more... )

Your spring bloomers are looking mighty pretty! I'm glad you had a good visit with your family.
I hope the tiredness is only that and that you're feeling perkier today. I finally got the right vitamin suppliment to make me feel better but it turned out to not be vitamins at all. It is called "Probiotic Formula" and is meant to help my digestion.

I need to pace myself, but haven't had enough time to do that. I had already had a very tiring day on Sunday, then went out on Monday knowing I needed to rest, and by Tuesday my body refused to any more. I was going out Wednesday but thankfully it was called off. However, my friend Trenna called round for some lunch and we ended up visiting an opportunity shop that I had not been to before. I hadn't been loose in such a shop for a while, and had a fantastic time as I found a number of practical things I needed going for a song. Altogether I bought 4 nice drinking glasses, 3 egg cups, 2 soup mugs, 4 very large coffee jars to use for storage, one T shirt, and 2 rose prints for the bedroom wall for a total of $21. I love that kind of shopping!

So do I. I plan on going by a junk shop or two after my Master Gardener's class tomorrow morning. I'm usually on the prowl for books and jewelry.

You'd think a router wouldn't be such a hard thing to get right. I hope they send out the one you need.

I hope your tiredness isn't a sign of anaemia or something like that. Have you had blood tests lately?

I'm glad you had a good visit with family.

I do love your tulips!

Hello,
What are the kinda oval globe things in your garden?

Must have been nice to see your grandson. Are his uncles your brothers?

Your comment about the choir gave me a thought. Do you like classical music? My ex-husband who is now my really good friend, Eddy, is doing his honours recital on Friday at the Con. (Near Salamanca markets?) All welcome, no charge. (Will be 25 mins)
I could be biased, but if so, so was everyone who marked his bachelor recital and gave him an HD. His playing is just magical :-) I would be there if I could, for sure.

Just a thought. No biggie if you aren't interested :-)
If you are I can ask him the time tomorrow. I *think* it is 11am, but around then sometimes, anyway.

I'm not sure if you are asking about the tulips (colourful globe shaped flowers) or the clover growing in mounds at the front of the lawn. The lawn hasn't been cut for ages as it is too wet.

My grandson's uncles are my sons.

I love classical music, and I would be interested. It is possible one of my friends might know the time of the concert, I'll ask her. Otherwise I'm sure I could ring the Con. and find out. Thanks so much for mentioning it.

The colourful globe-shaped flowers. I know what clover looks like and no it wasn't that :-) So they are tulips. I had thought tulips weren't as elongated. Are they a special variety?

Yup Eddy's last name is Van Boxtel, and he is actually playing at another gig this afternoon and you guys are 1 1.5 hrs ahead now so he is probably already there. So finding out otherwise might just be easiest.
I will tell him you are planning to be there :-) he will be thrilled!
