I am absolutely in love with Double Delight and I can't find one here. It's rare to find "pedigreed roses" in Spain. You got to a garden centre and all you find are roses labeled by colour.
I can get them online for the UK but that's kind of an expensive hassle.

Good luck with the shed. Money just seems to evaporate with home improvements, doesn't it?

Double Delight is worth it though. No other rose looks like it or smells as good as it does.
I got one the year it first came out and we loved it immediately.

It is a beautiful rose. It didn't do as well in my last garden but here it is in clay and coming on really well. Tigerweave said it looks like icecream, I agree that it looks good enough to eat.

Kordes Perfecta is a rose that favors Double Delight in appearance and perfume. It may be hardier too.

The raindrops on the roses makes them even more beautiful. I love that Double Delight rose. The colors are a beautiful combination.

We seem to have had an explosion of roses blooming here in the last couple of weeks. I love it.

Double Delight is also one of my favourites, but I admit I have so many. Thanks for the nice comments, I do my best, and when I take photos of roses the love comes through, I think.

I/Indigo Elf think the double delight rose looks like Icecream!
I came back twice today to look at the beautiful flowers :-) I was thinking of my Granny today, she would like the roses too.
Hey it is Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, the racetrack people make all the roses bloom for that day. I love it plus all the hats.
