I have finally booked my trip to Sydney. YAY!!! Booking the flights on line was a convoluted process. I had browsed the cheap flights available and decided to travel with Jetstar. The first time I started the booking process it went fine up to a point, then Safari suddenly quit. I started again, but came to a halt as I started to fill in the online

A buffer breakfast in a hotel is generally expensive, but you have a wide choice of dishes. I think at the local 5 star hotels here the price would be similar. If you were getting breakfast at a local coffee lounge in Sydney I don't think you would see a lot of change from $13, but I may be wrong about that. We very occasionally have lunch at Les' 'local' hotel where meals are cheaper, and to buy fish with salad is $19. At a coffee lounge in Hobart toast, bacon and 2 eggs with coffee would be about $12 or more.
Having Les hovering made the booking much more difficult and stressful than it should have been. It was a relief to get it over and done with. Does he really think it is an appropriate moment to start talking abut something that happened long ago, before I knew him?

You are coming to see us in Sydney in November too aren't you?
The big girls booked the little CWA hotel you said was nice, for um. Wait, asking Leonie.
17th to 23rd of Nove. For two rooms except then we remember we don't need two rooms after Kylie goes on the 19th but she can change that.
You gotta come then too! We gotta go on the Ferris Wheel and eat gingerbread bikkies and fairy bread in a picnic at the park! hey do you like egg and lettuce sammiches? We do! Our granny would make them for our picnics when we visited her. So that is how Picnics are Done!
Love Indigo Elf and also memry too
ps the jumper sounds like a nice colour. What is "too fussy" for you? Do we get a piccie?
pps we get Strong Feelings to go into Op Shops too, and we find nice things then too!

I will post a pic, but not today. I haven't slept well the past 3 nights, and ended up sleeping the afternoon away. I feel rested, but drugged with sleep, at present.

I'm glad you are going to Sydney. You have got a lot of enjoyable things planned. I really hope you have a wonderful time.
When are you going? My #2 daughter is coming up from Syd at the end of Sept, beginning of October.
You're getting 'Senior Moments'? Well, I've been getting them since I was in my mid-forties. It could be because I stopped my iron supplement which had Vit B in.
I really like those strong feelings that lead to something. Good score!

I'm flying to Sydney on Sat. 25th Sep. and returning the following Sat. 2nd Oct. I'm taking the 7pm flight to give me as much time in Sydney on the last day as I can manage. I just hope I have the energy to do everything I would like to do. I have bad memories of having pushed myself too hard last time I was there, which were part;y responsible for having 2 falls, the 2nd of which left me with an egg sized lump on my forehead.
Vitamin B helps to digest all the nutriton from the food you eat, so I'm hoping it may give me more energy, as well as fewer Senior's moments.
I like those strong hunches too. Once upon a time I cojuld manage to create these opportunities, like putting out a message that I really needed a particular item, and I would find it in St. Vinnies or similar, at a price I could afford.

Ah, my daughter is coming up here on the 30th and going back on the 4th. So she will be out of the city approximately the same time as you are there!
Enjoy yourself to the max, and no falls this time!
Hmmm...maybe I should look into taking Vit B again, too.
Yes, those were the days when I could find the clothes I wanted. The Op shops have very little in them of value these days. I still an conjure up parking spaces and getting friends to pop up in town when I would like to see them about something or other :)
