My brother and I are heading down to Vancouver with our dad on Tuesday. Dad's surgery is on Thursday morning, at St. Paul's, which is right downtown. It's been a while since I've been to Vancouver, and the part of me not freaking out about dad is looking forward to it ( Read more... )

It's a beautiful place and I hope all goes well with your dad so that you can enjoy your trip there wholeheartedly. He's in my thoughts, as are you :;hugs;:

It's been too many years since I've been to Vancouver, especially in the spring. I'm grateful that Dad is so disgustingly healthy (not counting the CANCER, dammit), because everyone is very optimistic. Thank you so much for your words of support, Jane, they mean so much to me!
