TOWJWAGABI, Part 5

Here's a tiny, tiny Part 5. Everything up to (and including) Part 5 has been exposition. I think I know what happens from here on in, but it's not totally choreographed, so it might be awhile before Part 6 is posted.

But then, there was this one, five minute blip where he was bored, and the scene felt lame and a little too desperate, and at four minutes, fifty-nine seconds and counting, Justin Taylor sashayed his untouched ass under that God damned streetlight and everything, every fucking thing that was perfectly in place, suddenly got bombed to kingdom come.

LOLOL. I love this. So Brian, so confused about what happened, and still wanting it.

He made Michael look like some kind of fucking daredevil.

Also like the Brian snark.

"You know, sometimes you talk to that kid and he's a hundred and twenty years old and sometimes you talk to him and he's four.

Yeah, that's Justin to me, too.

I enjoyed reading it. So much sarcastic fun and snark. The dialogue was great. And you can tell that Brian hates Dan. But can't wait for the stuff to happen. For Brian to go after Justin, and make trouble. Also, where exactly is Justin's head at? That seems to be the mystery at the heart of this fic.

Thanks so much for the feedback!

That is the $240,000 question! Justin has been drifting for awhile, so I think both Dan and Brian are going to have to do a little digging to see what he really thinks about everything! Maybe it's more accurate to say Justin has some digging to do!

But Deb was quick to prove her point. "Every time I put together a box of old toys for Michael to donate to Goodwill, all of a sudden, I was givin' away his most prized possessions..."

"Those Star Wars figures would be worth thousands on eBay, Ma!" Michael called from the living room. "Thousands!"

That is so freaking brilliant! I love this story. I love your writing. Brian is so twisted and yummy. Wanting what he can't have but really just wanting it.

You have totally ruined me for almost all other QAF writers. Somebody will rec a story and I will go try to read it and almost barf.

Your stories are so smart and they flow so easily. Most stories have tones...almost like a voice. Some yell and some whisper but yours do both right when it is needed. I love it.

Your Brian is the best ever. Showtime should hire you to write QAF.

Brian's to Lose... smartwomn1 April 18 2004, 13:22:30 UTC
No, life cannot get any better. S4 and Chapter 5 in the same day. This is heaven on earth.

"Yeah, there it was. He'd wanted Justin. Alert the media.

"Fuck. Just admit it. He wanted Justin.

"Still. Now. Right fucking now."

I love Dan with Justin (and frankly, that's entirely your fault). An existence of warmest love and support is not worse than an edge-y life and love with Brian. BUT if Brian can come to grips with the one absolute truth of his universe (above), I'm ready for the battle to be joined.

I think there's got to be more than wanting Justin, tho. There has to be love. I can't help it if it's Brian and we all know he can show love. Justin has love now, and he likes it. Brian is going to have to seriously ante up for this one.

Debbie is totally right in her summation. And even tho' the Brian we know would go after Justin just to recapture him, I don't "feel" that here. I'm turning the corner on Brian's ability to do make this happen (again, entirely your fault). And I'm looking forward to the next encounter.
