New spoilers posted by Szilvia at QAFTalk. I seem to recall her as a reliable source. Anyone else have a clearer picture of how well what she's spoiled in the past has come to fruition?
Hmmm, sounds mix of old with some new/old. lolviola69January 12 2004, 13:21:48 UTC
The Vic one is new, but not new- as you mentioned, everyother week it seems there is talk of someone dying- Vic is the most predictable in a way, and would cause massive repercussions- with Michael & Deb especially (Hmmm, think there is already a spoiler about Deb & Vic having a falling out of some sort & Vic moving in with Rodney? Him dying before they patch things up??)
The more I hear about Cody & the vigilante stuff the more worried & excited I get simultaneously- worried because of hints like that of giving Cody a handjob ala Hobbes, Hobbes return, and excited because of it being a storyline dealing with aftereffects of the bashing on Justin and a really meaty story for Randy/Justin.
As for the baby- in a way I find it hard to imagine the show dealing with 2 kids-- but baby Vic Jr.? oh, yeah, that I can imagine.

This sounds mean, but we are talking about fictional characters. I'd almost rather them have Vic die than the baby. I just can't see how the series could recover from that into something light and airy and frothy. With Vic, you can celebrate how he lived and gain strength from that yadda yadda yadda.
Ideally, of course, I'd say, don't kill any of 'em. (Not even Brian. SEE?! I can say somethin' nice...).
Vic is really underutilized, but was coming into the picture a little more in Season 3 (about as much if not more than Justin in some eps).
excited because of it being a storyline dealing with aftereffects of the bashing on Justin and a really meaty story for Randy/Justin.
Exactly! I really did think Randy Harrison was being punished last season for some of his more vocal complaints about the show. Maybe all is forgiven this season! :p

With Vic, you can celebrate how he lived and gain strength from that yadda yadda yadda. Exactly- and angst for Ben & Hunter with reminder of more looming mortality with their positive status, therefore angst for Mikey loaded on. And then again- my Justin-love steps up here & I suddenly start worrying that this will happen while he's dealing with Hobbes' return, pull of Cody & appeal of vigilanteism- and Brian will be there for Michael- not realizing what all is going on with Justin... Than again- Vic's death could be what pulls everyone together- including Ted and Emmett.
(Not even Brian. SEE?! I can say somethin' nice...). Lol! You do like him, you do!! :-)
I will laugh my ass off if they show Justin manhandling Brian around the loft. "On your knees, bitch!"
"Boo hoo hoo, oh Justin, why are you so mean?!"
::gigglefits:: That would be so much fun, but the chances of that ever happening would probably be slim to none. However, I definitely wouldn't mind if Justin emotionally exploded at Brian once as long as it's handled well.
Mmm, wake me when it's April. Wait, no, wake me when my Season 3 DVD set gets here, THEN wake me when it's April.
I will laugh my ass off if they show Justin manhandling Brian around the loft. "On your knees, bitch!"

This? Just KILLED me! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! On a more serious note, I would love it if they showed Justin really letting go and having an emotional meltdown all over Brian, IF it were done well. I think it could be a watershed event for their relationship. Unfortunately, Cowlip don't have much of a reliable track record for doing these things well. *shrugs* Hope springs eternal....

If that sounds mean, then it must sound completely HORRID for me to say the opposite. I'd rather the baby die than Vic. This of course is only because the "Michael as daddy" storyline nauseates me, because I just see it as another way Michael is trying to gain Brian's approval.
"See, Brian? Lookit me! Look! I can be a daddy just like you, and now we can be daddies together!"
the "Michael as daddy" storyline nauseates me Jesus, YES. That'd be so annoying.
"See, Brian? Lookit me! Look! I can be a daddy just like you, and now we can be daddies together!" LMAO. Mikey's getting better. He's just.. too.. Mikey sometimes. Le sigh.
I will laugh my ass off if they show Justin manhandling Brian around the loft. "On your knees, bitch!" That made my fuckin' day. Haha. THANK YOU.

I'm usually swapping the laundry from washer to drying or emptying the dishwasher when someone other than Justin and Brian are on screen.
I tried to watch the first few eps of the third season from start to finish because I agreed to review them at the What Love Means site, but I could only do it for the first two eps!
So I didn't really follow the whole Michael-Becomes-Daddy storyline. It seemed pretty out-of-the-blue considering last season Michael was still wearing Garanimals and suckling at Deb's tit, but, hey, these tv shows age children rapidly all the time, right?

Yes, when you put it that way, Michael is far far from ready to be the father to a baby, Big Brother to say Hunter is enough of a stretch. ;-)

These make nervous. This could actually be the excuse Cowlip uses for a B/M fall into bed together scenario. Both of them upset about Vic, Michael fearing future pain and loss of Ben and Hunter. Brian nearly at his wits end worrying over Justin's ever growing anger and outbursts ( which spoilers say Brian takes his fair share of grief over). All lay the ground work for mutual comforting that will probably ge going on. And if that's the case I just have to say "How cliche". And then of course boycott Cowlip for stupidity.

True, but I'd just as soon they get this plot contrivance out of the way!
I can't imagine it happening and both of them not realizing it was stupid. I think Brian would feel really guilty that he'd led Michael on and worried that Michael would think they were going to get married now, and Michael would be like, "That's it? That's what everybody's been raving about all these years?"
Then they'd have a big laugh and never speak of it again.

Would be a good way - and likely the only way short of either Brian or Michael's death - to put an end to that horrid 'subplot.'
