Aww what a sweet little love story. I love the nostalgia of the time. I hope that he comes back and sees Marta again. Maybe another chapter is in store one day? :)

Awwww, could be...I did have an alternate ending which I edited out but you would have been pleased. :)

Nice story. I guess choosing to be a soldier is a calling just like being a nun or a priest. Not for me, but thank goodness somebody is willing and able.
