Bye Bye from the Birdie!

Last season I was thrilled to make the top 50. I never dreamed I would get to Top 18 people this season. I have had so much fun and am fully aware of the growth I've had in leaps and bounds over these what, nearly 10 months?
(I used to make babies faster than that!) I am as pleased as punch that I did so well and have so many of you people to thank

Thanks, Ro. I have had a blast and still can't believe I made it for so long. Now I must go and deliberate on an immunity vote recipient. It's a challenge to select one because every body is so good and deserves to stay!

First of all, let me just say I was SOOOOOOO incredibly bummed to see this shake out this way. I watched and watched the polls and kept hoping for a surge for you. I really am gutted because you are one of my favorite people in Idol. You are such a sweet, wonderful person and I appreciate all of your kind words and encouragement over the season. I truly do.

All of that being said, congratulations on an exceptional run this season. You really did a wonderful, wonderful job this season and I really loved seeing you grow and stretch your wings. You did such a great job and I loved seeing every word of it.

Thanks for everything this season.... from your kindness to your own awesome entries to being the warm and wonderful person you are. I'm glad you're going to be sticking around because you really add some class to this joint!!!

"incredibly bummed...?" yeah that describes the dpwnside pretty well... I would have lasted had the second poll come first! Oh well. the stars were lined up for me to do fantastically well and then someone had to go. I am okay with it. Surpassed last year, have hopes to return in the fall for the last hurrah.
Thank you for being a wonderful friend in the game. I would love to meet you for real someday. I think you have a great chance of winning this year. You have been a front runner in almost every poll! If you do win, you will have more time to write your book!

My dear friend, your stories have stirred memories so many times for me. Well done for getting so far.

I love your outlook and have loved sharing some of your life on lj. I agree about Gary and the chances we had, all so special and worthwhile, will never regret trying, and was very tentative just like you were at the start; had no idea what I was doing, but soon warmed to it.

I am afraid I have fallen by the wayside recently the last two weeks have been dealing with a lot of pain, and the annoyance of not getting the bending and flexion I needed to attain, mainly due to an infection in the wound in the first week. Anyway enough excuses hope to return to full interest in the game again.

Again well done, and heartily agree with the sentiments you express. Good luck to the survivors.

I'm so sorry to hear you are not having an optimal recovery. Pain and loss of motion must really drag you down.
I really meant it what i said about intersection partners. You were my FIRST this season and I so enjoyed all that you wrote about. It was wonderful having another golden girl (and then some)person to write with. I felt much less alone in my age group with you around.

It's been mentioned ot hinted at here and there. We don't really advertise it but I was too grateful not to mention her. I am very very proud of her accomplishments. I like to think she got a little of her talent from me!! Thanks for all you encouraging praise and comments this season. Good luck in the rest of the game. You are a fantastic writer!
