People were asking me about the quilt in my last entry.  Here is the picture.  Here is the picture of the original Rupp Roadster that my husband used as a model to restore an old one for our grandson.

Love love love the quilt! It's gorgeous. I'd love to get into quilting, but feel like building my fabric stash would be too pricey.

Also love the roadster... but, you know--FIBER ARTS!

I get fabric at goodwill and yard sales. You would be amazed how quickly you can build up a stash! heck, I'd even share some of mine with you. :)

This bike is actually a picture from the internet of what the brand new one looked like back in the day. The actual one that Lee reconstructed is yet to be shown here but I will. The quilt was made many moons ago. I have made hundreds since then and most have gone to charity.

I love the quilt!! Did you make all the stars individually or did the squares come that way?

I started a quilt and have yet to finish it. Which is a shame really because I love the colors...I'm suddenly feeling inspired.

I cut out each six pieces and machine appliqued them onto the solid block so the block color shows in the middle.
I hope you get back to your quilt you started. I like to go online to quilting sites and just look at pictures for ideas. Colors! That really gets me fired up.
