What an unexpected use of Beatles lyrics! And somehow, they never grow old, do they?

A tiny typo after the Hard Day's Night lyrics-- missing quotation marks after something John has said.

I'm always boggled by the fact that what we're seeing is always the past-- sometimes the unimaginably distant past. It's nearly impossible to wrap your head around that as anything other than theory that must be taken on faith! Not that I don't believe it, I just have a hard time conceiving of it.

Thank you for reading. I had a lot of trouble posting this one today. I had to copy and paste several times before it seemed right. I'm not surprised I missed a mark or two. Thanks for noting it!
I love the Beatles and their music is timeless for sure.

I agree with you about the past being out there somewhere and being very difficult to grasp.

I love The Beatles and John has always been my hero. I've always felt like he just knew something the rest of us different and some of the songs you mentioned are exactly why.

And we all shine on, like the moon and the stars and the sun...

Of course I had so many lyrics to choose from. I wanted to keep the story relatively short. John was always my favorite one too. Most of my friends liked Paul but there was just something special and charismatic about John. I still play their music all the time and won't part with my LP's.

Oh wow! THANK you. Maybe you are just a big Beatles fan like me!!
I intentionally kept this on the short side. I was truly stumped about how to even write on the prompt until I thought of Strawberry Fields and then it just unfolded.

I have been paying attention and noticed other writers doing it quite effectively. I am a real Beatles fan so it was great being able to write ( a little) about something I am passionate about!
Thanks so much for reading and commenting.:)
