LJ Idol Exhibit B Week 1 Chillin' like a Villain

I had been reading a great book about psychopathic ( Read more... )

Awww. so sweet. And I guess Batman would be old to 7 year olds. It's been, what, at least six months or so since the last Batman movie? ;)

And I like the story and the idea, and it actually kind of fits a bit with the latest Batman trilogy - the idea of Batman acting as a symbol for the people of Gotham. Neat!

Thanks for the nice comments. Fun trivia: I just read in the AARP Bulletin that Batman IS a veteran super-hero. He was created in 1939 which makes him a few years OLDER than I am!

You should tell them that Batman never gets old and that Ironman is just a phase. ;)

Kids these days, man! Batman is probably still my favorite superhero.

This reminds me of the old-school, Bruce Wayne/ Adam West Batman drink cup my grandma got for me when I was five, back in 1966. I found that cup in a cabinet when we cleaned out The Mothership's old condo before she moved back to Ohio.

That'd be a nice little relic to hang on to. I just read this week that Batman was created in 1939. That makes him about 75 years old!

Thanks for comment!

Thanks for reading and commenting. Don't despair. I think superheroes do come and go but Batman is Forever!

Out of the mouths of babes? I love that he "hoped you won't be mad" before saying Batman was really old.

I confess, I'm much more of an Ironman and Avengers fan. :)

No problem with that. We actually like them all too but when he was about 4, I'd made him a Batman costume and I use to be his playmate, usually Robin, sometimes a villain. (Grampy was always Alfred) I just naturally thought of Batman first. Thanks for reading and commenting. :)
