From about December 20th until the middle or latter of February the smelt fishing season is in its height along the coast of Maine, providing the ice is thick enough to support the weight of the fishing shacks. I remember back in the early 70’s the year after my fourth daughter was born when I was working full time and had three other lively daughters in various stages of day care and school and extracurricular activities. This sounds really fun and I like the short term idea for dealing with many time constraints. I hope I have signed up in time to be included in the game.

Last season I was thrilled to make the top 50. I never dreamed I would get to Top 18 people this season. I have had so much fun and am fully aware of the growth I've had in leaps and bounds over these what, nearly 10 months?
