Battlestar Galctica 3x17 - Maelstrom
- The paint sex scene/dream at the beginning was very intense. When this guy magically appeared as she was painting, I was like "who is that guy?", and it took me a while to realize who it was -- Leoben. Plus, Hotdog's look at her in the quarters was priceless.
- We get some more Kara/Leoben action this episode. If you think of it, they can be secretly an OTP? I might have to find some fanfics that revolve around that premise, hrmmm.
- Finally...a cylon raider encounter. We haven't had one of these in a while. Although, I miss the whole like 15 raider fights as opposed to one.
- At first, I thought it was a Cylon encouter, where the Cylons were using Leoben to get into Starbuck's head, but then I realized it was all pure imagination--where Leoben was part of a healing/closer process for Kara.
- Seeing Kara's ship burst into flames tore me apart. I seriously cried at the realization that Kara Thrace / Starbuck was gone. She was actually my favorite character in the whole show, and her character was actually the one who brought me closer into the show. Sad moment -- it's still painful.
